Doctoral procedures
The person applying for the degree of doctor, hereinafter referred to as candidate, shall submit to the dean a written request for a doctoral degree. The application shall be accompanied by a set of required documents:
- personal questionnaire with a photo
- curriculum vitae
- original or a copy of a document conforming the possession of a master’s degree certified by the organizational entity opening the doctorate.
- list of publications
- information about the progres of a doctorate if the candidate has previously applied for doctoral degrees in the same discipline
- opinion on the candidate prepared by the academic supervisor\
- the form concerning the covering of costs connected with the doctoral degree
The candidate who submits the application, can also present:
- certificate confirming the knowledge of a modern foreign language, meeting the requirements under the general law
- the request for consent to submit the doctoral thesis in a language other than Polish.
The condition for the initiation of a doctorate is to have a scientific text which has been either published or accepted for publication in the form of a book or at least one scientific publication in a peer reviewed scientific journal of at least national range.
